Our Mission: Rejuvenating Kalyani's
Kalyani Oota was born from a passionate endeavor to
rejuvenate the ancient Kalyanis, sacred tanks which are
central to local spirituality and community. Our
dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly with local
communities and government agencies to restore these
historic sites, preserving their physical and spiritual
essence.
Inspired by the need to raise awareness of the Kalyanis'
significance, we present Kalyani Oota, uniquely built in
the concept of a step well. Located at the entrance of
Isha and set against the backdrop of the "Kaurava Gunta"
hillock, our restaurant provides a setting where water and
food converge in harmony.
Our menu is a tribute to South Indian cuisine, featuring
traditional and authentic dishes. We take pride in using
locally harvested ingredients, supporting local farmers,
and promoting sustainability. Each dish, from crispy
masala dosas to aromatic filter coffee, promises an
unforgettable journey through the region's gastronomic
heritage.
